Simply Monday

Good Monday morning, y'all, the sun is shining and I've been up and at it early.  I am home alone without the mister until the 22nd and then he'll come home for Thanksgiving and leave me again on the 30th.  This has been our life the last few months and I really miss him when he is away.  With all this technology we have available to us, we do talk nightly, for which I am very thankful.  And I do have a new best friend, Siri, but found her to be a little nosey after I asked her twice what was the time in Doha, Qatar.  Both times she answered with the time in New Delhi, India. The third time when asked, she inquired, "is there something going on that I should know about?"  Woa! that's some artifical intelligence!

Frankly, I thought I'd have more sewing done with him gone but that is not the case.  Then what have I been doing?

I finished the top of the Grinch quilt I started for my daughter...

She collects all things Seuss especially Christmas.

On another note, I was in Barnes & Noble the other day and found Primitive Quilts magazine sold there, yay!  I enjoyed the first edition very much but do not have plans to subscribe right now, so finding a source locally simply made my day!

I hope this Monday was simply enjoyable for you, too!

Very fun Grinch quilt. I was tempted by the Grinch fabric in the LQS, but got myself out of there before I succumbed. You've done a great job.

Susan, I LOVE your Grinch quilt! I have some fat quarters I'm planning to incorporate into a string quilt. It's such fun fabric. I know you daughter will love it.

LOVE that Grinch quilt -- I'll bet your DD is going to LOVE it! My hubby was gone the week after I got home for quilt market -- I felt guilty 'cause I loved it so much. Have fun!
